Junior Associate Advocate (Fresher)

We are looking for a motivated fresher to train across our litigation practice.
Who we’re looking for
- LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) degree, and enrolled or applying for enrolment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa
- Keen interest in litigation and willingness to work across practice areas
- Good legal research skills and familiarity with SCC Online / Manupatra
- Clear written and spoken English; Hindi, Marathi or Gujarati preferred
- Punctual, organised and willing to attend court daily
- Willing to travel to Court out of Mumbai
What the role involves
- Attending courts across Mumbai with seniors, and independently for adjournments and routine boards
- First drafts of plaints, petitions, applications, affidavits, notices and replies
- Legal research, case-law compilations and research notes
- Maintaining court diaries, case files and matter updates on the firm’s systems
- Assisting in client conferences, including with NRI clients
